They can't stop copying us. Confirmed Golding is their new HC.

I assume this is only interim?
OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

I just knew they would panic and fold.
-
I hope they hire a defensive guy for head coach

This makes me think the rumor on players could be true. They are in panic mode to keep their team and as much staff as possible in place. This was a mistake imo
-
I expect them to name an offensive assistant as OC any minute now.
-
Give it to Carter.... He is playing chess....hired DC Pete before Penn State, Wyoming, or anyone else could swoop in and take him ***
DC Pete is gonna kill it.
-
It's now a full on come apart!!
-
Ole Miss reported to offer the offensive staff double their salaries to stay at ole miss. I assume Pete took a low pay to just get the job.
BUT I will say, honestly, damn good job AD Carter. We needed that leadership after Mullen left here.
Need now too - should have hired double salary to all personnel while Lebby learned on the freaking job for 2 years.

Even though I think they may have panicked here, they didn’t 17 around. They made a decision and went with it.
-
OM is doing all they can to make sure the home playoff game goes as scheduled, but I don't think this is a good plan with an eye to the future.
-
Leach passes away we panic, promote inexperienced DC. Then let him fire half the staff.
Ole Miss promotes DC, and doubles the pay of offensive staff to keep continuity.
It may fall flat on them in a year, but they went all in, and kept their boosters fired up doing it. Checked all boxes.
-
Well yeah, Stevie Wonder saw this a month ago. LOL

Their choices were getting more limited fast.

The question is how many of the offensive staff can they keep?

"Remaining continuity" is like being diagnosed with a fatal disease. Has any pro or college team succeeded when they use this term in the hiring process? Sean Payton made the saints, not the staff. Mike leach made state, not the staff. Lane made OM, not the staff.

Theyre In trouble. But still prolly not as much trouble as we are with Keenum and Selmon
