Well Florida is a better job. But I'll be honest and I have some local interest in Tulane- I think Sumrall is overrated.

He wouldn't have chose them over Florida anyway.

Now that some of the dominoes are falling- I have to wonder if Kentucky and South Carolina come open too.

Who the crap would they hire? This is not a good market to be searching for a head coach.

Jake dickert? He's won 8 in back-to-back seasons at wash st and WF. That's really impressive

My om friends are tired of the drama, 48 hours after having a program with such potential.

I absolutely wouldn't be surprised if Mullen is interested in the OM job.

I think silverfiield is a pretty good hire for UPig.

You think Tuberville's exit, Nutt's exit, The Freeze saga, Tunsil, etc....is all just bad things that coincidentally happen to Ole Miss? No, it's all a byproduct of ego's that don't match the actual worth of the program.
They can't accept that even with money equal, their best season, a possible SECCG appearance until last night, playoffs, etc.....Kiffin STILL wants out of that place, because it's still not enough to make that job more attractive than LSU. That's the truth. And Ole Miss ego's are having trouble accepting that they are a stepping stone like they always have been and always will be.
They are just getting ahead of Kiffin's message bc it makes them look a little better to make Kiffin the bad guy and take focus off of them being left for a down LSU over their program being at its all time best to offer.
Any way they try to spin is just gonna make them look more absurd.

There is a world where OM is 3-9 next year

And make no mistake. The LSU expectation is for Kitten to deliver IMMEDIATELY. Gonna be fun to watch and root against.

Kiffin is going to fail spectacularly
He was idolized in Oxford - he?s a paid mercenary now and that rat poison is going to do him in

MS needed one school soooo bad. We would be a powerhouse like LSU with one dominant school. MS schools will hardly ever reach the pinnacle because of this. And I’m pretty sure it’s the “better than you” crowd of OM that caused this years ago, right?

Just think about what LSU just did
Strolled in at the apex of the best season OM has ever had, when they're on the way to the Playoffs, and took their best Coach and most of his staff
How do you explain that if you're OM?
-
Will this math work?
kiffin (14M) + NIL Commitment (25M) =39 M
Golding (4M) + NIL Commitment (35M) =39 M
Or was the 39M for Kiffin and the NIL Commitment fake news? Or do the generous donors disappear without Kiffin?
I think even Belichik and his girlfriend can coach a 39M NIL team to at least 9 or 10 wins next season.

It's going to be crazy but LSU is not a place he should fail with. So long as he gets along with Shaquille O'Neal and Todd Graves, he'll be alright. Kids play for money these days, recruiting is not a huge deal anymore, if LSU has a NIL machine, he can just manage the roster and X/Os.
OM is just a memory for him now.
