You know its bad when UGA fans are disappointed they have to play in it.

I'm hoping bama loses tonight. This is the only way OM gets knocked out of playoffs: play in Atlanta without lane and get mashed

Yep….long season with 9 sec games next year plus playoffs. A conference championship game is a little much. But the $$ might have something to say about it.

The money would be better to have a 24-32 team playoff and no CCGs, but you'd have to get every conference to agree.

SECG is now useless. It was good when we had two divisions and 12 team conference.

28 Teams. 10 AQs. Top 4 Conf Champs get byes. Rank top 28 + order of every conference leader. (So #28 as normal, #29 - SunBelt Leader, #30 - CUSA leader, etc) Simple IMO which is why it will never happen.

The playoffs should be 16 teams with no byes.

Cal will probably blow it, but we are 10 minutes away from a 7-5 Duke playing in the ACC title game instead of 10-2 Miami. What a joke. And if they beat UVA, they are in the playoffs.

Haha, Duke may be heading to the playoffs. They lost to UConn and by almost 30 to Illinois.
Actually, if Duke wins, 2 G5 schools will be in the playoffs.

Duke played absolutely nobody and lost to anybody with a pulse. That's what happens in a 17 team conference. Conferences are too big.

I'll be curious to see what the committee does to Ole Miss after Lane leaves. I wouldn't be surprised if they lose out on having a home game. Or do they keep them out of the playoffs altogether like they did to FSU a couple of years ago?
