No, I?m talking about the players not playing if he doesn?t coach in the playoffs. If he?s taking the job, he should tell the players to finish their season. The only difference is that he won?t be there. Holding OM hostage is pretty selfish, plus KC knows that he?s taking the top talent with him to DV. It?s ruthless, BUT I?m not unhappy about it. PLUS and this the best part, he?s going to beat OM?s ass with those same players next year.

These coaching salaries are insane in some part because schools have been trying to find the next Saban for years when in fact there is not another one.

Lame is taking the LSU job
Lame wants to coach Mississippi in the playoffs
Mississippi does not want him to continue to coach if he is leaving

Lame can keep the delay going. He has the upperhand as long as LSU continues to wait. LSU understands this and remains quiet.
Mississippi can whine all they want- but they would have to fire Lame and have a buyout to pay to get him out of there right now and they know they cant do that. They also cant force him to sign an extension.
