Timing this for right before the iron bowl kick I bet.

I would think they need to wait until after the Iron Bowl. Should Auburn win- they need to Lame to stay another week
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

Splash announcement. Once Iron bowl is out of Auburns reach, Lane will spill the beans. Attention whore gotta whore.

I think it is the opposite. If he was staying, it would be an easy decision and they would t want to announce that ASAP.

That is exactly right. Kiffin is definitely going to LSU but wants to coach Ole Miss into the playoffs. Kiffin is under contract and telling Keith Carter to stop me from coaching my team. Kiffin has Ole Miss by the balls. Ole Miss is going to miss on Sumerall because of Kiffin

While the docusign was already sent to Baton Rouge.

If Auburn wins.........he might stay....

This thing has been done. It's too quiet in Baton Rouge. They're just sitting back waiting for him to negotiate his exit strategy.
-
If I was Carter I would just put it out there. I would hold a press conference and say that Lane Kiffin is the Ole Miss coach and he will coach the team as long as he is the coach.
If he did that would LSU keep this ongoing for a couple of weeks without them officially having a coach?

This is where this has been heading for 2 weeks. Lane wants to play the victim. He desperately wants to be liked so he is going to make OM make the move to get rid of him. He is basically going to call the bluff and play chicken with them.

Yes LSU would 100% keep it up. Because Lane would take their job and about 15 players and 15 potential transfer guys the second that OM’s season ended.

Apparently, Lane is playing the ultimatum. Let me coach or I’m taking all of the players with me.
