He was literally on a trip to interview a candidate when it was leaked to CL best writer that we were hiring Cohen. That guy and another candidate immediately backed out and Cohen we were handed. It was a low point for us at a time we were trending upward, very divisive for us who already have problems getting it together.

We have never consistently competed at a high level in football in the history of the school so you can just give that dream up now. We have a season every now and then where we compete well but it never seems to last. One of the reasons we are able to compete at a high level in baseball consistently is that we were able to build a tradition in that sport before most schools did begin to care. And there are plenty in the SEC that care about baseball so its ridiculous to say nobody cares. No, its not a 'revenue sport' but don't tell me schools like LSU, Arkansas, etc. don't care.
