It is officially Egg Bowl week. That means one thing?.17 the Range Rover Leasing, Chandelier renting, Cold Chicken tender eating, seersucker wearing 17boys from 93 miles up the road.

“Egg bowl week is upon us”
SO WHAT! Another fumbling, bumbling, stupid coaches crap show! We will be embarrassed at our own stadium. That really gets me fired up.

We'll come out fired up but when the first bonehead play by someone on O or coaching staff results in OM TD then we'll mail it in.
Hope I'm wrong and we can limit stupidity early and come locked in.

The rivalry is not the same except to many of the fans of each school. These highly paid portal mercenaries at each school are only here for a year or so and I dare say most have no knowledge of the history and passion regarding the series in classic games past. Some of these guys have been at 4 or 5 schools and still have eligibility left. I hate the one and gone portal with no rules worse than the NIL (Name, Image and Likeness , a joke), as we should call it what it is, "Pay for Play".
It's game 12 and I still don't know the names of half our players by their numbers.
It is what it is and we will be there 8 strong. Upset OM, get 6-6, get a bowl and turn this thing around! Hail State!

Golden I agree! None of these players are playing for the name on the front of their jersey. They are ONLY playing for the name on the back of their jersey. They do not understand the rivalry and what it means for the fans. Maybe a few understand but really they are only concerned about the next bag of money.
Some of the past/old egg bowls are a thing of beauty. All was left on the field. And nobody can not stand the fake plantation owners more than me!

The passion is for the name on the front. Not the name on the back.
That said, there are some guys on our roster that this game means a ton to.
