Better for Lebby to be successful than to tank next year. I am pulling for him.

I'm still on the fence.
I'm still on the fence too, but maybe a little more Pro Lebby, idk yet. I'm pulling hard for him.

I like Lebby's offense. I would like to have better defense. However I thought the decision to go for it on our end of the field in 1st half at Mo was the worst decision in the HISTORY of football.
And I am not sure he will grow out of decisions like that.

Better for all of us if Lebby is successful. I know I bitch about him, but deep down I do want him to succeed. Just like I want Sherrone to be successful at Michigan (he is having an ok season so far this year)

That is what I am worried about too. I'm okay with making decisions, especially someone like Lebby who is in Y2 of his HC career. I just hope he learns from his mistakes. If he does I think he is going to be a good coach.

OM is going to take a hit in the rankings if Kiffin leaves. Announcing today would have given us momentum for the EB and a drop in the rankings this coming Tuesday.

Lebby has a good offense and can obviously bring in some skill position talent. He has the program moving on an upward trajectory?of course downward wasnt possible when he took over. He also may be the absolute worst in game decision maker ive ever seen. And it?s consistently terrible. Both of these things can be true.
Can it also be true that kiffin truly doesn?t know what he?s gonna do yet and he and Carter came to the conclusion that a decision should be made by the Saturday after the egg bowl? And I?m just throwing that out there cuz to me it definitely sounds like he?s gone

That was definitely a "let's calm the storm" message for sure.

Also, it seems like Twitter and Facebook comments are even more overwhelmingly negative than the message boards are.
As ya'll know my family has had season tickets for 58 consecutive years. In my neck of the woods, the bunch that is old as me (very few now) know another Shira, Felker, Croom, JoMo, and Arnett hire when they see one and Lebby fits the mold unfortunately. I don't know a single person who thinks he's the answer next week or next year. All these bad in-game decisions which he has doubled down, ala JoMo, have turned everyone off.
A win over Ole Miss, 6-6, and even a bottom-tier bowl would provide hope for next year.

I feel like we are having revisionist history on JMo. Lebby is 10x the coach, I don't see the comparisons there at all. Don't even get me started on comparing him to Arnett that is absurd.

I beg to disagree pertaining to a comparison to JoMo. Lebby like JoMo seems to be stubborn about his decision-making and doubling down on the calls when so many went wrong this year. The comparison that included Arnett in that group was our "powers to be" again hiring an on the job training assistant coach to be our head coach time after time expecting a different outcome. My wife said that is the defintion of insanity. I have an opinion just like you and I know a lot of people in my area, and very few think Lebby is the answer.

Jomo had way more talent than Lebby has at every position on defense and O Line and that's not even debatable. I think we all can agree there. Lebby has done more with less. I agree with most on here.. Lebby's and Jomo's in game decision making isn't separated by much. Lebby has done way more with less tho, imo. His offense is 10x better than Jomo.
Jomo sucked. As of now, I give the edge to Lebby. I would like to see Lebby with the 2018 team and see how it went.
