Sumrall is holding off on making a decision as well right now. He wants to see what Lane does. Jon would have an inside track at the OM job if/when Lane leaves. He could pitch keeping Pete as well.

It's not that. Lane wants to have his cake and eat it too. He wants to coach OM in the playoffs so he can have all the eyes on him on the biggest stage and then go to LSU.
Sexton and CAA want him to take LSU.

Yea I have OM people, the homers of all homers, trying to tell me that Lane is doing this to raid both LSU and Florida's roster. I honestly am enjoying the mental gymnastics some of them are doing to justify the stuff Lane is doing.
I finally told one of them today that they sound like the guy who's girlfriend is openly cheating on him and he's denying it.

Over the PA they play......Callin Baton Rouge.
The stadium would lose all semblance of it's shit

He's going to LSU if he goes anywhere at this point. It would be incredible. I would be the most belligerent asshole in that stadium when it happened.

The perfect scenario is we beat OM, knocking them out of the playoffs, Lane leaves for LSU, and their roster and coaching staff bolts with him...the agony and rage in Oxford would be EPIC....it could only get better if someone found a way to collect and turn that essence into some type of narcotic inhaler or injection....Holy hell...
