So Layla, Knox, Keith Carter and Sexton are all in on the troll job?
Lane is a huge prick but he isn?t an idiot.

I know it sounds crazy but I don't put anything past Kiffin. He trolled the entire time the last cycle and still stayed at Ole Miss.

I don’t remember him being this way last year. The only thing I think was remotely similar is Auburn. Even that wasn’t near what’s going on here

Logic says he is leaving but this is olemiss and Layne Kiffin we are talking about; both are attention whores with histories of erratic behavior. Olemiss would go to any lengths to be mentioned in the same company with bama, texas, lsu, etc.

If this is a massive troll job Lane has some serious mental issues. There are some powerful people in all three camps that will not find this funny.

Exactly. I put nothing past those weirdos. They verge on Texas A&M level cult status

This isn't a troll job. You don't piss off your fanbase and burn 2 bridges for the hell of it. I take it as lane has told him family he's leaving, but he will let them choose the spot.

I don?t see Lane trolling here. It looks to me like he is doing his due diligence and considering his family in his career.
It?s the crazy ass fans stalking airports and airplane tail numbers. He would be a fool not to listen to other offers or consider his family. Why would he not listen to offers from universities with more potential for success than OM, at least on paper. They?ve been good to him, but everyone knows they will turn on him quickly if he has a 5-7 or 6-6 year.
Do you guys not listen to other offers from potential employers?
What is he supposed to do?

If this is some troll job then there is a portion of the OM fanbase that will never be bought in again. He also will have completely torpedoed ever getting a P4 job again. Like this would be his last stop and when it goes bad, and it will, he will nowhere to turn. He will be hated by legitimately everyone in college football. And honestly, after this crap, he is hated by everyone.

I think this is probably what is going on. I think his advisors are telling him LSU but I think he holds that Florida job in extremely high regard personally. So I think he has his family doing their due diligence at both places. I think if all things are equal he would pick Florida.

Who knows but if his family chooses it will be Florida with all of his wife's connection. I think the Lsu trip is more of a troll to get as much money available which is crazy right now.

What about Lane says he's mentally stable? Lol, I love the dude he's hilarious but his history, comments, and trolling say he's capable to say and do anything. Joey Freshwater is still alive and well! If the ultimatum by Ole Miss is legit it tells you they don't know what he's capable of doing. You don't give that type of order to a grown man and expect no repercussions. They're even trying to keep him level headed.

Lane just had a documentary about how more mature he is now and how he has settled down.
That was to show potential employers he is serious.
This is not a troll job. He will pick LSU or Florida by this weekend. He will not coach the Egg Bowl.

Lane Kiffin isn't the one being immature here. The Ole Miss administrators are embarrassing the sh*t out of themselves. They aren't trying to keep him level headed. They are trying to bully him into signing a contract like he's not the hottest commodity in college football right now. This is like some dude that's a 6 trying to lock a 10 in the basement and force them to continue to date them. Ole Miss has gone bat sh*t crazy over this because they know he's leaving and there is no amount of anything they can offer to stop it. They don't want to (and won't) face the reality that is they are a bottom tier SEC job being propped up by an ELITE head coach and him leaving proves that.

Hell I'm close to retirement and just had another oil company contact me. Guess what? I listened.
