Mullen would have us in a bowl next season without a doubt. Doubt he'd come back though

Malzahn would be even better. He was always a much better play caller than Mullen. And he always felt like he was better than Saban and beat his ass more than any other coach.

My understanding is that bridges have been burned in both directions, but obviously I would be totally fine with bringing him back if he would come. I would want a huge buyout clause so that he wouldn't be able to shop around.

The difference between Saban and Mullen is immense, and ironically that's the difference between Mullen and Lebby

I think Mullen would limit KT a lot honestly. He would rely too much on his running and not enough on his passing.

Remeber Mullen only won the EB only once with Dak and that?s only because Nicole made the fumble into the end zone.......14 was a HUGE embarrassment and was the pivotal point in Dog football and 15 was a complete @$$whipping....so maybe not.

Sorry buddy, Mullen did great things for the Dogs.....but his EB performances were shaky especially in the years he was shopping......and that was the question I was addressing......and yes Mullen made a great QB out of Dak.

Troll or not you are correct. He was shopping in 12 and we were not prepared. We were god awful in 13 but he was locked in so we found a way. He was shopping in 14 and 15 and we were not prepared. He was locked in for 16 and we curb stomped them. And 17 he had already signed an MOU with TN and was out of it.

Think about it in your own career - do you want to have a high performer on your team who is good enough to have other job opportunities and talks to them some? Or a low performer that no one wants (but would also talk if someone did want him)?
