We looked pretty athletic. We moved the ball well enough thou it’s against a terrible Miss Valley team. This team has potential, Sec in WB is loaded.

Miss. State 107
Miss. Valley State 43
Chandler Prater 25 pts
Madison Francis 17 pts, 8 rbs, 5 blks
Nataliyah Gray 15 pts, 7 rbs
Jaylah Lampley 9 pts
Destiney Mcphaul 9 pts
(Few Player Notes)...
- Point Guard Saniyah King still out..injury related.
- Freshman Nataliyah Gray coming on strong. Again, been telling you all she can really hoop,. My opinion Miss. State and LSU both in the conversation for best group of freshmen in the SEC and nation (NCAA Womens D1 Basketball).
- Favour Nwaedozi 16 rbs (note..10 rbs at halftime)
- 6-7 center Rocio Jimenez 9 pts, 3 rbs.
- Junior College All American transfer transfer guard Awa Fane continues to come in and play well off the bench. She displays an ability to play at both the 1 and 2 spots and was one of the first players Purcell utilized off the bench in this game..
- Appears K Richardson's best game of the young season.
- Trayanna Crisp appears to be sacrificing offense while filling in for Saniyah King at the point guard spot but did a good job (3 assists, 0 turnovers, 2 steals)
Miss. State moves on to 3-0

Not even joking we may have the best 3 freshman in the nation. I like all 3... if Sam can somehow find a way to keep them we have a bright future. Gray, Lampley and Francis all looked really good today

I was impressed with Prater.

Returnees Destiney Mcphaul and Chandler Prater both have stepped up their games. That young lady Prater is way tough, tough player with a solid overall game. Also, these young ladies work hard on and off the court.

I know it's really early in the season but but Favour Nwaedozi leads the NCAA D I Women's Basketball in total rebounds.

So was I, she played solid last season coming off the bench and ended up starting some over Eniya Russell to end the season so I was somewhat expecting her to be good for us this year.. add our Freshman playing the way they are along with our big Favour and I like this team alot... we will have some growing pains but if we keep playing this way and telling we will be a tough out.

I really hope this team surprises me. The freshmen are better than I thought they would be.

Freshman Nataliyah Gray "Tally" impressed as well, and possibly the best group of freshmen in the SEC and NCAA DI Women's Basketball. Miss. State's freshmen, LSU's freshmen, few other teams.
