Our only two bad beats this year are to the #3 and #5 teams. Those teams will be in the playoffs. We are not a top 5 team and shouldn?t be surprised when we don?t go toe to toe with them.

Yes Lebby is learning and we should probably have 2 or 3 more wins this season, but in looking at the big picture so far - this team has done damn good.

We need to quit looking at what we just missed and start seeing how good we really are doing.

Now, let?s get behind the team for these last two and go bowling!

I think it speaks volumes when we as fans are upset when we lose to the #5 team. It means we are that much better! Our expectations have grown through the year. Losing sucks but look at how far we have come. I just feel like we are moving in the right direction. Question coaching? Yes. But we are no where close to have the talent that Georgia, Texas, Florida, etc have. Yet we went toe to tie with them. Not so much toe to toe with Georgia but we had opportunities and competed. Most of us predicted this year would be terrible. Here we are with a chance to go bowling and competing with the big boys.

Yep. The team is better, but we are not top 5. Keep doing what we are doing.

One note, that damn speaker system was ear splitting today. It sucks we have to blast it out because they suck so much.

I just wish we would have won 1 of the 3 close one’s we had a great chance to win….to state the obvious. Bowl game….extra practices would have been nice. Still a chance but very slim. I only predicted 3 wins so I should be satisfied. Ha.

Lebby has far exceeded my expectations. We have the right coach, just need to keep adding talent and build around KT.

    Absolutely!

Give money to NIL. We need to upgrade OL and DL.

Georgia is the most talented team we have faced all year. Also the fastest and most depth. We had 4 DB’s to get banged up today.

Penalties made it worse as did not kicking FG and the fumble. KT got better by the end of game.

Back in June we all would have been thrilled going into the egg with 5 wins being able to beat them and get to a bowl. Well guess what

This is year 2 of a massive un17. The progress is apparent as it the distance that we are still behind the top of our league. We have to just keep our heads down and keep on keeping on right now. Increase the nil funds and get better.

Unfortunately, the Village People think MSU is or should be a blue blood. No doubt most before season would be ok with 5 wins in year two. Plus against maybe the toughest Sec schedule in the conference. IF we get6 I would be very happy.
Injuries today looks pretty bad, especially on defense and our lack of depth. I’m not surprised about the outcome today, neither should everyone else.

I’m happy with the improvement I’m seeing in almost every asset. My issue is that there has been absolutely zero improvement in play call/decision making from the HC and the QB position. I can be pleased at the progress and still be pissed where there has been absolutely none when we are at the end of yr 2.

Can’t disagree totally, getting better talent and some depth would help big time.

The amount of players we have to acquire this off season is troubling. There won't be any continuity carried over next year. It's back to 2024 with a more seasoned HC. The schedule remains awful.

All the turnover is the new normal. Either we can do it as a fanbase and Lebby can do it as a coach, or we're the perpetual doormats of the SEC.

Not saying Lebby is a bad coach but expectations are reality. As State fans being happy with 6 wins is bullshit. We are a minimum 8 win school and this year that was possible.
