Lebby buying tickets
This may not be an interesting topic to some of yall but Lebby bought 500 tickets for the Georgia game and is passing them out to students and different departments. He also said some of the players did this as well. I think this is great and shows he is really bought in. Keeping them out of Georgia's fans hands and creating that home field advantage! Maybe coaches do this all the time but I've never heard of it if they have.

I think it’s great what Lebby did.

That's awesome! I hope they show up.

I really hope he wins at least one more game this season and I hope he turns this thing around big time next season. He's a very likable guy and I want him to win here. We need several years of continuity.

Looking like rain now...that's not going to help.

Same here man. Really seems like a good guy and I want him to win big. For him to have the guys still competing after last year and the soul crushing losses this year speaks major volume to me in his character and what he believes in. 18-19 year old kids don't just buy in unless they believe in whats being preached.

My weather app says only 25% of rain right now.

He mentioned in his pressor that some of the players also bought tickets to give to the kids clubs.

Unfortunately, I think this is what we're going to have to do to keep opposing fans out of Davis Wade.
I would definitely have much rather unsold tickets go to kids in need than some annoying asshole from Georgia.
Check that. Some annoying asshole from Meridian or Tupelo that cheers for Georgia because they're good and never got close to going to school there.

Absolutely. Imagine we win, these seats are filled with kids that don't care or only go every blue moon. We beat a top 5 team, the stadium is rocking the whole game, it's cool fall weather, we get bowl eligible. They feel the pride and pageantry and then they become lifelong butt in seat and elitedawg posters.
Man what a day.

Man that would be so awesome! I still remember the day I became a fan. I didn't have tv growing up cause of my religion. I was at my nannys house and she was a huge State fan. 2007.. Anthony Johnson pick 6 against Bama. That was the moment that I decided State was the team for me! Boy has it been hell but I wouldn't change it for anything. Now Im raising my kids to be State fans and I have to apologize to them every Saturday! Lol

That Az St. game earlier this year won some fans. I was at the 07 Bama game and AJ pick 6 was incredible.
My wife grew up a Bama fan but she didn't become a fan I think till the Norwood UF TD win in last seconds.
I'd have to say I became a fan probably the 1980 game. I wasn't there but heard Jack on the call. I'd been watching Bama win for years and that win was it.
This team this year can play with and beat anyone. I expect a juiced atmosphere Saturday.

From what I can gather ticket sales have jumped a good bit in the last two days. I don't think it's last minute UGA either.

It's not. There's more than a few that are bought back in now that we got a win. If we could split these last two, the Egg Bowl will be a madhouse. And if we win both, it will be bedlam.

Dude. That goal line stand was freaking sick. My Dad, brother and I all shot up out of our chairs and were yelling at the TV the whole run back.

It would rival 99. I really wish we could flip the basketball time and the football time if that happened. Play basketball at 11. Let everyone get good and drunk at that game, move to the tailgate, switch to brown water or adult water, and let all hell break loose inside DWS.
