Mizzou will be tough to beat on the road even with losing their QB. We have a chance for sure but it would take a great game.
Egg Bowl is really interesting. We have time to gameplan and really prepare. But so do they. The main thing for us is being healthy upfront. That matters as much as anything.
I'll be at the Egg and I'm looking forward to it now
Georgia is no different than FL or TX. Everyone is beatable. Obviously we got our work cut out for us, but this ain't the same UGA

Any chance or getting any off lineman back before EB ?

Yeah. That's why I'm expecting us to lose to them in overtime.

Exactly. This is the kind of thing MSU needs to invest in.

It's insane. But as Coach said, it's a depth issue.

After seeing how ark shut down the DOG run especially on first down........I don’t see how it can be close for very long.....om had them for 3 quarters I think but they also have a running qb.....

Here's the truth about the two right now.
We're actually more limited with KT as the QB. He doesn't have the full grasp of the college QB thing. He is getting better. He made some reads tonight that were the right ones. However, when he made the right read he fired a 105 MPH fastball to Booth on a checkdown 5 yards away from him. His accuracy is off. Now, he will get better but that's where he is right now. And yes, he can run and make plays with his legs that Shapen can't. He can take more punishment than Shapen. I get that. But when you have a QB that struggles passing the ball it's a problem and it's the inverse of the problem we have with Shapen. And you can say, well he hit that bomb and yes, he did and I at the same time can point out the plays that Shapen made with his legs.
Shapen can make any throw you want and he does a good job of running the team and the offense. His offensive line sucks and we really only have two truly reliable receivers although Ayden and Traore are in the next tier. And yet, for the most part he has performed pretty well. The problem is he is streaky. But when he gets hot, he is really good. And after an offseason where our fans said he shouldn't run, he has cut down on that and now our fans criticize him because he "isn't mobile or dual threat." He has certainly failed under pressure at times but he also has succeeded as well. He made some BIG plays tonight on fourth down than I'm not sure that KT would have at this point. When he got hurt and couldn't play you could tell he was pissed. That's the kind of guy you want at QB.
And now with KT making progress here's how it really changes our offense- it's going to allow Lebby to run Shapen more. Because now we don't have to worry about him getting hurt as much. That's going to allow Shapen to play more free which is what we want. And with KT making progress it's going to cause Shapen to have more competition and that's going to push him to play better. Same thing Bill Walsh did with Joe Montana and Steve Young and it resulted in Montana playing absolutely out of his mind.

Great team win. This keeps everyone motivated & hungry the remainder of the year. If the team can somehow get to 6 wins Lebby deserves coach or the year.
