Just read article Kelly suing LSU for $56 million. Seems he is angry and going all in on a bunch of reasons from hi contract plus damage on his character.
Gonna get interesting.

Knew this was coming. These schools don't have endless money but they want to promise up front just to get the HC in hopes of winning. Now because overpaid coaches has started no one wants to go back to pay for success.
Grab the popcorn. In the end MSU may have been smarter about how we handled some things even though it isn't popular to run your credit card up when you can't pay. This is a direct result of our gotta have it now culture even if I can't pay for it.

Supposedly the buyout had been negotiated down to $27 million. Are you saying that’s untrue? How can you agree to a lower buyout but turn around and sue?

You are under the assumption that was agreed upon. That might have been LSU's spin that it was lowered. Unless he did something wrong, he isn't going to agree to having it cut in half. Both parties agreed to it. LSU is a mess w this governor stuff.

LSU is strongarming him with the morals clause of his contract. Supposedly his pen is writing on different pieces of paper around campus. He better be careful dealing with those Coonasses.

Agree, why would Kelly agree on $27 M and let them off the hook for the other 23M? One thing that was said after the Affie loss was the meeting with Kelly and AD. AD told Kelly to fire the OC which Kelly said no. That was when the hammer fell and he fired Kelly. Kelly said he did nothing wrong in the wording of his contract to be fired.
Morgan and Morgan is bout to be paid as well.
Also these firings in the middle of season especially with huge buyouts may be the best thing to happen for many schools. My deal is let the season play out at least to the last week of the last game. Stupid money for stupid people to just give money away like it's monapoly money. Coaches change jobs often especially now days
