Because of NIL, in theory that is true. In reality it is not.

Right it?s way easier at LSU
Since it really cranked up, no sec team has won a natty

That was before NIL/Portal got rolling. Being the only program in a talent rich state was huge then, it's not quite the advantage it once was. Still means a lot though.

I see your point and I think the confederates will pay him whatever they can to keep him. That said they don?t have a bottomless pit of $$$$ like the tigahs. We?ve both been down there and know how those people operate.

LSU guys will rob a children's hospital to get players. They won't get left behind in NIL money

How would you put LSU ahead of Bama job wise? Makes no sense. LSU and Georgia are also ahead because of the talent in the South

Kiffin is taking LSU. That is the one job OM has always feared. And it is not about money. He wanted it in 18 and wanted it in 21. That is the job he covets.

Because he get talent easier and cheaper at Fla and LSU

I think lsu has more money now. Bama is the best program in history, but I think being a poor state will hurt them some in NIL

Ummm... Louisiana is a poor state too.

My questioning Kiffin to LSU has nothing to do with how good a job LSU is. He just seems like he's more of a Florida guy than a bayou guy. I'm sure he also thinks he can win a natty at UF just as well.
Curious also why you think Bama is a clear better job than LSU

You have a lot to learn about the Bammers. Outside of the Tx schools they can buy us and half the league over. They have one family, all UA graduates that just one of the family members could match our entire football spending yearly and not really even feel it.

I mean we talking about who is better among the top 5. It isn't like I'm saying bama is gonna be trash now

They do not have to do that anymore. Todd takes care of whatever they need. Todd is paying a large majority of this and will pay whatever they need to get Kiffin.

What I?m saying is you are way off base with what you?re talking about. You were trying to say Alabama was a poor state and it could hurt them. You are not wrong about the state but lack the knowledge of who these individuals are which isn?t surprising as they aren?t a household name in many places. I happen to have worked for this family in my career, they do things in the billions. And this is real money, privately held with world wide operations. When asked the can and will fund anything that is needed. The crazy thing is there are more than just one family that helps them carry the load like them. Just one more point, they move very slowly, very carefully and deliberately.

So? They have some billionaires. They're not getting their money from the state.

Yep. The Georgia grad is going to fund taking Kiffin from Ole Miss to LSU.

Their last 3 HCs won a natty. Sign me up for that.
