I love that we get a chance to go against the #2 team in the nation in a scrimmage, good learning lessons before the season starts

I am afraid this team might take a step back this year. That lineup does not inspire confidence.

I think Jans went too far in the other direction after being displeased with the D last year. A lot riding on Epps returning to his 2024 form. I think we are 1 scorer short.

You very well may be right smootness. We definitely dont look good right now looking at the stats. 13 minutes left in the 1st and we haven't made a shot from the field.. only 2 points, both free throws
-
I am impressed that you guys are going to punish yourself with this just 24 hours after football's disaster
-
I dont expect to go to Houston and win but dang we arent even competitive right now

And they have 11, so the D is holding up. Either way, not worried about a preseason game vs maybe the best defensive team in the country. This is a great job scheduling... we need to see someone elite to show our guys how far they have to go

It's still over 10 mins to go in first half, and we playing...Warren, Davis-Fleming, marcura, Ali, and Hubbard.

Lol its an exhibition so it doesn't hurt as bad. Jans has literally player almost everyone right now so we know its not a true barometer of what the team will look like. Id still like to be competitive though

Oh I definitely agree. I just want to see some sort of Offensive production

I'm sure Houston is a better team than us but neither team is playing to win this game. They are both playing to learn about their teams. Hopefully Jans learns something about his guys that helps us down the road.
I'm looking forward to our season but the SEC is going to be brutal.

15 to 9 Houston with about 7 minutes left in the 1st. Jans is playing several guys and so is Sampson so its hard to tell how good or bad we are but this is definitely a defensive type game. Both teams are defensive minded
