    Most concerning thing about Lebby

He has proven to have no feel for the game. His use of timeouts is mind boggling. He didn't use one in OT against Tennessee. He waited to use one until 4th and 20 tonight. We burned zero clock but at the same time played scared in the 4th. He has absolutely no confidence or creativity on 4th downs.

I don't even think it's choking. It's almost as if he's just plain slow. There's no way he has the capacity to run organized operation at this level. It bleeds into how our team plays as a whole. We are a constant stream of critical mistakes.

Shapen definitely handicaps us, but if we improve that position it doesn't change any of the above.

pretty evident that Lebby doesn't have what it takes - can he develop the necessary skills and organization I don't know - I certainly hope so but only time will tell

He does not know how to win and donors will not have confidence in him and hold back any donations to NIL and we will go back to last year talent and suck wise and start the whole process over

OC is where he tops out. The concerning thing is he doesn?t seem to be learning.

Lebby is in over his head. I really don't blame him though. Every next coach we manage to trap at this *******ed gig will be in over their heads as well. It's too much to take on. This is a small poor ass state that continues to shrink and can only handle one successful football program at a time and we ain't that program. We can't even pay players to come here now. We will get a basket of pick overs out of the portal and lose our best players to other programs and loos of eligibility. Nick ****in' Saban knows he couldnt win here.

Yeah. He doesn't seem to have a good feel for coaching. He kind of reminds me of Felker in that regard.

Whoever our next coach is will have experience. I'm guessing that's going to be a big prerequisite.

In my lifetime Bellard, Jackie, and Leach all fit the mold of what we should be going after. Bellard was the worst one and he won 9 games and got the biggest win in school history. Sign me up for that.

I think Jimbo Fisher is probably the closest to that mold that we could conceivably hire this offseason.

I didn't put him on my "hot board" because I'm just not sure if he really is back to his old self, but there's upside in that hypothetical hire.

I don't have a hot board because I don't know who would be available next year. If Mike Norvell was available I would probably take him over Jimbo. Obviously James Franklin but he will probably get hired soon but again- who knows?

Yes, and Fisher would get his ass kicked here.

The most concerning thing about Lebby is that he is a loser. Plain and simple.

Lebby’s intellect does appear to be lacking. IMO he just doesn’t appear to be very smart. That translates down to his players. For second week in a row a single player for us has aided the opposing team to score points in very important points in the game. Last night actually two contributed.

Depends if he is over whatever mental health issues he started going through in 2022-23.

From 2010 through 2021, he was 117-37 as a head coach, with 69-28 in conference games, and 5 top 10 finishes. If he's back to that mindset, he'll win at whatever level his school's NIL fund can bring in for him.

And our NIL donors gave Jeff Lebby a team that should be 7-1 right now, but poor coaching has us at 4-4. Late Jimbo could probably match being 3 games under where the team should be, but not for most of his career.

I get the need more money montra but we played teams with big$$$ rosters an played their tails off - really beat the mess out of them with the talent we have minus some big pieces. That ain't our issue.

Coaching, play calling, time management, player management, etc. are our issues. We coach not to lose and lose; we got to play to win. He did the ASU game and hasn't done since. It is like the pressure makes him shrink into his coaching shell.
