I get called out for being the weird ex that hangs on, but that's really not the case... I'm the guy that can actually throw my hurt feelings out the window and appreciate our time together.
It's time to move on. Just like it was time to move on from Ron Polk in 1991, 1997, and 2008.
The question isn't whether he was successful or not here. And that's not the issue. The issue would be (I say would be because I don't think he's coming back) whether bringing him back would be good for MSU. I don't see any way it would be beneficial to us. Sure, he might have a good season or two. But he's just going to try to move on again and he has flaws that we simply do not need right now. We don't need to tread water and then start over again right now. We need to move the program forward with Lebby. I think there is going to be a ton of upheaval in the SEC in the offseason and if we can remain stable, we can be very good.
Would MSU baseball have been better off with Polk or Augie Garrido in 1991?
Would MSU baseball have been better off with Polk II or Paul Manieri in 2001?
