Let's just beat TX, beat Arky, and everything else will be gravy the rest of the way.
There is the problem though... we will not beat Tx or Ark if we keep plying like we are missing deep shots and holding ball too long plus...athe defense keeps giving the PF up every time we get a stop late in the game.... Tilman's back to back penalties hurt ...same thing in the TN game

Agreed. Our deep shots have to hit. I mean hell, look at Shapen's stats....24/36 324.....if he just hits the two wide open plays he ends over 400 yds and 2 TDs. Add in the one where he led Thompson too far inside and that's another 50-60 yds. Shapen could've had a MASSIVE day and Thompson could've seriously threatened Tulu's single game receiving record had those two passes been hauled in.

That is what is encouraging yet so damn frustrating at the same time. Those plays ARE there, but we have to be able to hit them.

Again- Eli Manning RS'ed. Dak did too. Cam Newton didnt do anything his 1st 2 years of college and then showed at in juco in his 3rd year. This year's Heisman frontrunner at the moment- Ty Simpson- RS'ed his Freshman year. Sayin at Ohio State RS'ed also.

Acting like he is a failure because he isnt ready is ridiculous.
That is fine that he is not ready, I do not expect that. Not being able to read an RPO at this stage is concerning though. That should be nailed down by now.

I think I said this on another thread. I am not as upset with KT not knowing zoneread as I am on Shapen not knowing it. Shapen came in on 4th down and ran the same play that KT ran the past two downs and should have know that end was crashing and handed it off

Makes you wonder if we aren't coaching it well

Frankly, I haven?t expected more from KT. I?m way more disappointed that Lebby isn?t using Kromenhoek at ALL! It almost seems as if Luke asked not to play so he can redshirt and transfer out at seasons end. Certainly, Luke understands the RPO reads and is a good enough athlete to be ?more ready? than the True Freshman. I mean. Darn! Is the Kid from Tupelo better than Luke? Something seems off here.
