    A player's perspective

I don't think Lebby needs to be fired unless the team quits on him. However, that sort of loss takes away the hope you preach to players. They did EVERYTHING you asked of them and then the bone head happens, AGAIN.

Lebby has to make some sort of changes to his philosophy of coaching quickly.

    1. Taking away Shape's option of audible & changing the play. The TN loss, Florida loss, and excessive holding on to the ball taking sacks show he doesn't make the best decisions.

    2. Start the FSU kid and rotate him and Taylor the remainder of the season.

If Lebby doesn't change these kids will stop fighting to win and we'll no longer be competitive. The Texas is a MUST WIN GAME for the lockeroom.

Lebby has used his mulligans and needs to step or we need to move on to a competent coach

This hire is nothing new as per my first game viewed as an eight year in 1963. Our numerous "powers to be" are cheap and incompetent when hiring Assistent Football Coaches to be "On the Job Training HC's and expecting different results time after time. This began with Davis or Shira in my lifetime and the list of failures on the field, (Felker, Croom, Moorhead, Arnett & now Lebby).

I can now see why I read so many comments on OU boards why there were so many of their fans happy to see him go. He gets too cute with his play calls among other issues. This is bad, again.

Being at home will help this coming Saturday. But yes, to the players bouncing back after a disappointing loss.

We are improved but we need a win quickly which would give the players some life. Very proud to see the effort of the players not giving up and playing hard. A positive was the team coming back late in the game.

We ain't firing a second year Coach, we are so much better than last year but we are still a work in progress. This is nothing new with our history, we are not an easy fix plus it's gonna be hard to get a "known coach".

Bad play and dumb pass decision.

TX win at home is a must win right now or the locker room is lost and portal papers will start to fly. TX is beatable by this team too. Need another 1991 big win in DWS Saturday.

I wonder if Texas fans will fill up our half empty stadium? Probably but they can’t be too excited either.

Prepare yourself. Texas will have half the entire stadium due to our shitty season tickets sales and poor adjunct professors trying to supplement their income by selling out our home field advantage.

Why don't we fire the OL coach? Far too many pre snap procedure penalties should have been corrected 4 or 5 games ago. Totally unacceptable.

Speaking of in over his head I give you Kellen Moore. If the Giants hadn't given them 5 freebees they would've butt stomped them.

we are improved, we have moved from Marianas trench depth to just middle of the bottom of the ocean. definitely an incredibly stupid play call, p utting the ball into the hands of a very limited QB when you can run the ball and give our kicker a chance.

Hey redstick kinda reminds us of highschool. It took Bayles 2 years to get it going.

Come on people, our players played hard all year last season when we were getting our brains beat in, but ya'll think they are going to quit just because we lost a heartbreaker off a bad QB decision in an SEC road game? I think we have a much better chance to beat Texas in Starkville than we had to beat Florida in Gainesville.

I disagree. JoeMo was in over his head. Arnett even more so.

Lebby will be fine. His problem, at this moment, is his stubbornness in sticking with Shapen. Shapen is awful and seemed like last year, and even more this year that he does not seem well liked by teammates. I would have said he was our best chance to win up until yesterday but he clearly no longer is.

Players will absolutely quit. Also, this is literally a totally different team than last year. I also agree we had/have a better shot of beating Texas. If we lose to Texas we'll be relying on Arkansas to quit on the season to get a win.

Hey those professors are probably clamoring to get MM their tickets. And how many Professor MM sightings on the sidelines will we be subject to,
