Kiffin has a home under construction for the entire fam(ex wife included) so this is nothing currently. Chris Kiffin will also reside nearby them too. Knox is happy at Oxford High and will start at QB for 2-3 years. Not sure how HC salaries in the NFL compare to the SEC but the sharts will match any and all college offers made to Lame. Only spot he'd currently covet is Bama and that'll be solely because Lame simply wants to leave.

Matt Rhule got 7 years 60M for reference. Harbaugh I believe got 13M per coming from UM. Reid is highest paid at 20M. Dolphins would do 16M in a heartbeat, Stephen Ross is worth 17B and has almost doubled his net worth past 5 years

Miami would probably only have to match what Ole Miss is paying. It is well known in and around that program that Lane has openly coveted a few NFL openings in the past few years. There was smoke around the Saints last year but I think he probably would've wanted some assurances on things that I doubt Mickey would agree to on the player personnel side. And I know he would without a doubt be interested in the Miami job. That is one people have kind of circled for the last couple of years. And reports were this morning that McDaniel is on very thin ice with Stephen Ross. I don't foresee him making it there and I know from people in that Bama program at the time that Lane REALLY was excited about working with Tua. He'd get his chance in Miami or he could bring in his own QB.

I am loving the way this team is playing.......Yes I am on coach Lebby boat.....The DOGS are playing hard....playing def again.....throwing the ball deep .....is it perfect no....but we have a coach that is going to put a competitive team out there and WILL GET BETTER.....JMHO I have no info but folks on here saying LK is leaving om is really just jerking themselves.....he has a wonderful job with LOTS OF BENEFITS.......AND HE RUNS THE SHIP and he most likely is in the CFP this year which will get him a statue up there...........Hopinng Lebby gets to get in LK’s head....

You?re out of your mind. Our fan base is by far in support of Lebby. You can take that crap to USM.

I can tell you that Kiffin was never really a candidate for the Saints job.

Yeah. I think so too. Sure, he might eventually leave but not at this point.
I don't think he is going to be actively shopping himself every offseason either. He's not going to give UConn and Maryland the time of day like Dan did.
And right or wrong the Art Briles stuff is going to help us keep him.

Yea I heard there were rumblings early on but asked one of my Saints buddies who is pretty well connected with the Benson family and he told me that there wasn't much to it. His name was floated early but it never progressed much more past that.

Is Kiffin's home under construction in Oxford as big as the one Schaefer had under construction is Starkville when he left for Texas?***

Lane is building a compound in Oxford. He's basically building a new neighborhood of just Kiffin houses.

I read that he turned his attention to freshmen redheads. The 25 year old is too old now.

He is a multimillionaire. He can build a lot of houses or neighborhoods. Wait till you find out how many houses Mullen built.

Y?all do know that Schaefer plans to keep his home in Starkville. He comes to several State football and baseball games each year. He loves Starkville. But he had a better opportunity at Texas. He will likely retire in Starkville.
