    Is Mullen gonna go undefeated?

    5-0 with this remaining schedule...

    AF (1-4)
    At Boise st (3-2)
    NM (3-2)
    At Colorado st (1-4)
    Utah st (3-2)
    Hawaii (3-2)
    At Nevada (1-4)

Boise st and Utah st are the games to watch. He might pull it off

According to FPI, he's a heavy favorite in all but Boise st.

Wouldn't say that. They have a very real shot at the playoffs.

His scheme translates well to college football, is simple and easy to implement while hard to gameplan for and, most importantly, recruiting is more about money now and less about personality. He will excel in the new paradigm

I agree. Recruiting and job searching kept him from achieving so much more than he did. Recruiting is irrelevant now.

Yes. He will always job search. I believe his dream job is HC at Penn State. That will probably never happen for him but I would take him back here in a heartbeat. The dude can flat out coach.

And if so they will get a participation trophy.

I mean getting unlv into the playoffs isn't some small deal. I don't think he does it though... Boise st beats em

Either loses to Boise or gets popped by New Mexico on an emotional let down.

But you can be assured I'm betting on them until they prove me wrong. What a boon betting on UNLV has been with their former SEC head coaches the last few years

I hope he does...good for him. Wish he was here, but 9 years is about the maximum life for a head coach.

There's so much money in Las Vegas. If Mullen gets them into the playoffs this year, he might be able to put together some really strong rosters going forward.

He will most likely not stay there if he gets them into the playoffs. He is already out feelers out for Arkansas and is going to try and get back into a power 4 conference someplace

If he does go undefeated or 11-1 I wonder what school will come after him?

I could see a mid tier big 10 team going after him or possibly Pitt they are getting tired of Narduzzi around this neck of the woods. Megan is from Pittsburgh and I think her family still lives in the area

Would rather see him at Pitt instead of Arky. Would love to see another headache for Dabo; Lebby doesn't need any more headaches.

Arkansas or Oklahoma State would be lucky to have him. He would win at Penn State.
