Underperforming???? Do you want our ace to throw a no hitter every time he takes the mound? He is still one of the best in the league

Our "ace" was supposed to be woodruff. He's underperforming I'd say

Glad we got out of that mess. I am starting to wonder about the evaluation of some our pitchers coming out of Juco and High School. Maybe some of hitting woes was the fact Thompson took most of the scholly money to get his pitchers and we could not offer up for some hitters.

He may be referring to Woodruff, who was the supposed "ace" coming in to the season. He is definitely underperforming while Mitchell is definitely not underperforming.

That would be accurate. We need one more trustworthy pitcher before we can do anything special again

Good example there of the value of Britton- their 3B throws it into the ground on the long throw and we get a baserunner
