I wouldn't start Laster. Fitts is essentially a relief pitcher that just happens to start as far as I am concerned. He goes about 50 pitches every time. He should be able to pitch tonight, throw 50 and then start Saturday.
So, I don't like it one bit.

I don't know anything about him. Can anyone give a little bit of insight on his stuff and info. One of few names I hear and say "who the hell is that"
Also, is it on hailstate?

Agreed and Fitts pitched pretty well agains them last time.

9 times out of 10, that team will host. And had they won one more SEC game, they probably would have. If we get to 18 SEC wins we're on the hosting bubble, 19 we're a lock.
RPI is pretty damn important. It is the single biggest factor in determining who host. Last year all 16 host were in the top 16 of the RPI.

Leaving for Pearl soon. Hoping to grab a bite and a couple of beers before first pitch. Man, I hope we beat those pompous pricks.

Hudson's arm is a liitle stiff. Hudson is close to pitching again.

Me, my son and some friends sat right above the State bullpen. Saw him in the bullpen but he never warmed up that I recall. Got a good look at Laster's stuff pregame. More or less impressed with him. He settled down after opening jitters though....
....he needs to control his anger against the batters***

I would have gone Ross Thursday, Preston/Woodruff Friday, and then back to Fitts/Lindgren on Sat.
I wouldn't have let Fitts go beyond 50 pitches in the Governor's Cup. Everything worked out OK.

He is your boy. Too bad my boy, Seth Heck, won the starting SS job after two weeks of Britton's screw ups.

At some point I'd have to have told him to go ahead and hit the umpire"Because you've hit every other *******ed thing out there, I want you to be perfect."

Britton is rocking 3rd base. Can't believe he wasn't always at 3rd.
