Final Tennessee thoughts
Yeah... we are going to boat race them jokers. You people be pissing me off acting like they are some big slugger and we are just the sluggers doormat. This isn't last year and they aren't anything more special this year than last, but we are ten times better in all facets of the game.

-fan base is going to be electric. I would put it up there with the 2014 Auburn, a$m games

Interesting. Syracuse has managed just three points against Duke early in the 3rd. They scored 26 against Tennessee.

I'm not as upset as I think I should be. Maybe it's getting older and not caring as much since the Saints were robbed in 18. I think it's more that we still exceeded expectations in this game. There are plays we can Monday morning qb and bitch about but we just went toe to toe with IMO a top 5-7 team. It sucks but I'm more optimistic than upset.

This game showed me what I feared. And that's that Shapen is not a big game guy. Everything I was saying about him was hoping he would step up.

I disagree. Every mistake today was beatable with a good QB. He was average today, did nothing that made you go "dang that was good"

I understand. He is AVERAGE. But he will excel on occasion. And we don't have a QB who can give us more. But he can give us two more to go bowling.

Right because the touchdown that Thompson dropped or the FG the Ferrie missed would not have made a difference in the ballgame. Great game observation!
