State v Bama is one of the oldest played games in CFB history if I recall. It feels right and honestly now there is no dodging hard games in this conference

Did I see the schedules correctly that the egg bowl will be early in the schedule and not last game? If so they have screwed up college football even more.

If you're referring to the list on SEC Now, then no. They said the games were not in order. Everyone's 3 permanents were at the top of the list of 9 for each season.

Why, we were never not getting Bama. Just glad they balanced it out with Vandy, i was anticipating Ark or UK.

Yeah I have fully come around to this. Historically we have been a much better program from 2009 to now. Unfortunately that just also lined up to them getting Saban. I think we could win 1 every 3 years pretty regularly

I think Barton Simmons is doing some really good work for Vandy right now as their GM in charge of player acquisition. He has been a player evaluator and recruiting guru for 20 plus years and does a helluva job putting a competitive roster together.

Having said that, I see only KY on their level after Diego Pavia leaves but they are not the same ol' Vandy.
