    I still wish the US Army had left him alone and not forced him to lead them to those stuck settlers on the other side of the pass.

    In the movie The Bridge to Far he portrayed Maj Julian Cook who led his Airborne Battalion on the River Crossing. I met Maj Cook at Ft Bragg in 1986 and asked him about Redfords portrayal, He said spot on.

    Just think if he never struck out the Bomber and not met the lady in Black. He could've been the greatest pitcher ever.

    This one isnt as well known but probaly my second favorite movie of his behind JJ
