    Arizona State - I don't see it.

Alright, I will start this by saying we have to play a clean game Saturday and execute better at literally every position to win this game, but I am not seeing ASU as that big of a challenge as some of you are making it out to be.

They are a solid team. No doubt. I am just saying Skattabo last year is what did us in. Without that guy, I am telling you, we win that game last year. I am going on record, we play a good solid game and win this off the backs of Evans, Treore, Booth, and Shapen. I think we win this 30-17.

In Lebby's 13 games as Head Coach, how many of those would you say we've played a clean game with a high level of execution?

I don't either. I think it's ~5th easiest game on our schedule. Maybe 4th since Ark and Mizzou are on the road.

Agreed. Lebby, last year we lost by 10 pts or less to #7 ASU on the road (playoff team), #6 Georgia on the road (Playoff Team), and by 12 pts to ranked Ole Miss on the road.
We were in the game with Texas until Arch was allowed to run with 3 holds on 3rd and forever. Now Texas was going to beat us anyway, but at the critical moment Texas got blind refs for a couple plays.

Point being, we were not just blown out last year left and right. We played not great, but I believe we are actually a marginally better team this year. We will not have the worst defense in our school's history this year. We will have a better running attack. And Shapen is better than MVB.

ASU has to play a clean game too. They had a bunch of penalties against NAU. About 30k+ cowbells Saturday night will not help that situation.

The score last year really blinded a lot of us. They dominated and we mounted a comeback by them just handing to Skat anytime they had the ball and milking clock. Without an 80 yard TD pass late we still lose by 14.

Leavitt and Tyson still bring that offense a scary dynamic and let?s admit it, timing is everything. Playing a team when they are top 10 is just harder than when both are sitting at 4-3 or whatever. We have a whole lot against us to overcome but I think we have it.

As long as we play gritty and do not let them get an early lead taking the crowd out of it we can match up with them and I still think they finish top 3 in the big 12

As long as we can get the running game going and hope it is 100% humidity Sat night we can wear them down. And also we don't drop a few sure TDs again.

If we can just tackle the ball carrier on initial contact, we should win the game, and don?t drop TD?s, we should win the game. The tackling or lack there of was utterly amazing last year at this time.

The fact that cartoon named freak Scatabadadingdong isn't running for them gives me a lot of hope.

This. They beat our ass last year. It was never in doubt. They were coasting to run the clock get the game over.

With that being said-them having that stud RB was a big part of that and he is gone. We are certainly improved and will be at home. We def have a chance to win the ballgame and it should be a good one. D needs to continue getting better and OLine has to play better as well. It would help if Shapen is able to dodge injury another game. I worry that every game he takes the field will be his last. I expect us to be ready and good game is played.

A win is doable, but we have to clean up the penalties and OL has to play much better. I hope we ground and pound them into submission and then hit deep shots. Win TOP and keep their offense on the sidelines by running the ball. We have a chance but a lot has to be cleaned up.

It?s exciting watching Kelly Jones. He?s a freak.

    We have 2 freaks

    K Jones
    Kamario

    ?-

For the game, Az State looks good to me on YouTube .

This will be a great win if we get it.

Oh it will be a good win. But they are not who they were last year.

Winnable but as mentioned by others we have to play cleaner.

I?d also like to see the offense hum the whole first half. Seems last year we were always playing from behind and even against USM the offense didn?t find its footing until the 3rd quarter
