    That means we only need 1 upset at home to be 4-0.

    I'm not on board with predicting it or saying it is a certainty or anything like that, but we should absolutely be talking about it as a possibility and as the goal.

    It's one game. One in Maroon and one in White.

    For the rest of the games we get the crappy script. Even a black one.

    Selmon is a genius. Throwing crumbs and getting the fanbase to thank him for it.

    Probably going to see what fan response is on those games regarding the logo. If it’s good it’ll be our permanent

    No chance in hell these are for one game. That?s laughable, Selmon knew once he broke them back out we cant put them back up again. We will ease into them this year then we will have a full revamp of uniforms next year that include the interlock on primary home and aways with the script as an alternate.

    The script is a good logo, lol.

    I prefer the interlocking, but some of y'all are insane.

    I remember when the 1998 throwback uniforms were for one game in 2014 too. I know the intent right now is for one game. Would not be shocked at all if it's for more than one game.

    Technically we brought it back in 2023. So, this is in response to it being really well received at that time.

    Yes. It feels inevitable at this point. I may be a bit conservative in saying this but my guess is the interlocking will be our primary helmet logo by 2027 at the latest.

    And good on Selmon for listening to the fans and giving us what we want. Even if it is a taste. For now.

    The haters are in shambles.

    Glad to have an AD that listens to the fans

    We played a bowl game. It snowed. We won.

    But for me the 2010 Gator Bowl, 1999 Peach Bowl, 2022 Outback Bowl, and the 2013 Liberty Bowl were more memorable and fun.

    I don't think the Snow Bowl was even the most memorable win of that season- beating Florida that year was way more memorable to me.
    I think it's held in a much higher regard nationally than in our own fanbase. I mean to most of us, myself included, the 2000 season is a disappointment in a lot of ways. I mean we beat the two teams that played for the SEC Championship, and beat the tar out of the SEC Champions, but we lose to 8-4 USCe and 8-4 LSU. On top of losses to 6-6 Arkansas AT HOME and to an Ole Miss team that needed an Egg Bowl win for a bowl. We squandered that season. But to the national media, it's looked upon so fondly because it was Jackie's first time coaching against A&M since he was fired, it was a literal blizzard in freaking Shreveport, and it was a highly entertaining game, albeit it's almost unwatchable on the TV copy and wasn't much better in the stadium.

    If I had to guess the helmet schedule:

    @USM-white script
    ASU-black script
    Alcorn-maroon interlocking
    NIU-Maroon script
    Tennessee-white interlocking
    @A&M-white script
    @Florida-maroon interlocking
    Texas-maroon interlocking
    Arky-maroon script
    UGA-maroon script
    Mizzou-white script
    OM-maroon interlocking

    Well I know we're having it for at least 2 games, one non con and the Egg Bowl, and I think we also wear it at Florida because they are wearing a throwback helmet that day as well.

    I dont know why this has to be said anytime it comes up but you can have an opinion on the uniforms and still care about the performance of the team. Our brains are capable of enjoying multiple things

    I wouldn't count on seeing interlocking nearly that much

    I know that we're wearing the maroon interlocking early so that leaves it as Southern, Alcorn, or NIU since we are wearing the black helmets for ASU. And I doubt we'll roll them out first game, although I'd love to see it.

    Agreed. We can definitely "Mississippi State" a 4-0 start away, but seriously why is it unreasonable to expect an SEC school playing at home in September to find a way to beat a less talented team playing on the road that isn't used to the humidity?

    We SHOULD start 4-0. We might not. Also might start 4-0 only to end up 4-8, but starting 4-0 is more likely than not.
