Yes it was. K State was in far better shape than we were. It was embarrassing.

Well and Tommy Stevens got injured the week before and then got injured again in this one. Our 3 TOs in that one also didn’t help matters.

I moved to Rancho Cucamonga, CA out of college. 95 with no humidity (construction site had to have a water truck spraying to cut down dust constantly until the paving was done) felt like 80 degrees in Mississippi.

That and Joe's calculus on grass wasn't helping our cause either.

Yeah 110 is hot, but it's cooler compared to our 95 degree heat. Mississippi heat just feels like you're in a crockpot on low. Arizona heat is a very low humidity and you don't feel like you're suffocating while breathing.

I've had to travel to work in AZ several times this year. Sure 110F is hot, but not that bad really. Your sweat actually works to cool you down. A humid day there is 30-40%. In the fall and winter it can be as low as 5% humidity. July is their monsoon season where you see higher humidity/dewpoint values. I told them I need humidity to keep my skin from drying out. I never use lotion, but I have to there if I stay long enough.

You have to stay hydrated though because you have no idea how fluid you're losing. I also experienced the weirdest thing ever with it raining, but I wasn't getting wet. The water was evaporating off my clothes at the same rate it was falling.
