It was 100 on the field in Tempe, but it was like 20% humidity.

Dry Arizona "blow dryer in your face" heat TOTALLY different from humid Mississippi "clothes sticking to you before you get dressed" heat? just saying.

Playing in conditions that resemble a grizzly bear ingulfed in flames giving you a hug is far different than a hair dryer in the face.

It got Mississippi a win over Notre Dame in 1977. Every advantage helps

Dude. Bad comparison. Our QB room in 2012 was

Jamil Golden, Freshman from Ridgeway in Memphis
Steve Swindle, Freshman from Oak Grove in Hattiesburg
    Dak Prescott, Freshman, Haughton, La.

    Prescott was a 3 Star.

Ya Boy Will Roger's was higher rated than Prescott.

We have had several QB's higher rated as recruits than Prescott.

The first legit QB we got from Noxubee Co. was
    1) often poorly used
    2) had very little help

Anyway you slice it Taylor has an opportunity to "prove himself" worthy of the hype. But there are 2 guys ahead of him right now because of "experience"

It's not physical. It's the mental aspect. Much more to process than at Noxubee.

Cmon mane- he's not a coach's kid like Rogers and he played at Noxubee where it was very simplistic because their team is not blowing up ACT scores if we are being honest.

He may be the most talented QB we have every signed- but until his clock gets up to speed- he is not ready. His clock is on west coast time right now. Reps and reps and reps will get him central standard time. U know that.

and to piggyback- we gonna play plastic man until he breaks. Once he breaks- then we will see where the other 2 are. Obviously Taylor needs plastic man to last 6 games and then he may be ready to take it over. If its before then- we likely go with the guy with college game experience

Well we were out of shape under Joe. So that makes sense.

If it is 95 degrees and 90% humidity you are dead wrong. I have some friends who just moved to the Arkansas Delta from Goodyear Arizona, and they were talking crap about how they were used to 115 degrees out there. I just smiled and told them, but the humidity is so much different. As of Aug 15, they said they had never experienced this type of heat, and it just drains you physically. So yeah, Todd it does make a difference.

It's more dew point than humidity. Get that dew point 70-76. The sweat can't evaporate so you feel hotter. In dry air, your sweat evaporates so your body feels cooler.

Yeah. Ok. I've lived on the West Coast before in a desert and the South for many years so I guess I don't know what I'm talking about.

As someone who spent a summer working outside in Yuma, AZ, I can wholeheartedly say I would take AZ heat any day over our Mississippi heat.

Yeah 110 is hot, but it's cooler compared to our 95 degree heat. Mississippi heat just feels like you're in a crockpot on low. Arizona heat is a very low humidity and you don't feel like you're suffocating while breathing.

People have said this about dadgum QB we have signed starting with KT. And then after three games, people call them trash. Just stop it already.

And to add-the best QB we have signed since Dak is Sawyer Robertson to date. He will be a Top 3 Round draft pick this year.

I agree. I lived in San Diego for 2 years and spent Memorial Day weekend in Joshua Tree Park one year. I hiked 16 miles one day while it was 116 degrees. No problem at all with a straw hat and a couple of liters of water. Big difference! The biggest problem with their heat is that you don't realize that you're in trouble until it's almost too late. You feel fine then all of a sudden you're pissing orange juice and get a headache. Here it is so miserable that if you can, you quit before you hit that danger zone. One day out there the guys at work were bitching about the humidity. I looked at the NWS website and it was 23%. I told them to STFU!
