I am not the only one who thinks we start the season 4-0.........
-

Interesting. And certainly possible.
-
No doubt possible, unlikely though. 3-1 to start the season and upset either Ark or Missouri on the road for 4-8, which will build a little hope for a bowl next year with a softer schedule. Beating ASU would be lagniappe. Starting 4-0 beating either Ark or Missouri and knocking off UM at home would be fire.

Arizona St seems more beatable by the day.

That would be great, do that and win an SEC game or two and exceptions for 2026 are through the roof.

If we do start 4-0 we're beating Tennessee too. We go into Kyle Field 5-0 but we lose to A&M in a fairly close game.
Beating ASU and N. Illinois ain't no small feat. We do that and we will much better than expected. Good enough to beat Tennessee.

Still surprised we didn't buy out Northern Illinois

Buying their best players was cheaper so we just did that.

And I know it ain't much but Luginbill told Bo Bounds last week he thinks we are going to be a lot better this year and he thinks we go bowling. Take it for what it's worth.

Bowling is happening. Once this team wins and develops chemistry we'll be hard to beat.

If we get to 4-0.. IF. More than usual buy in and excitement from fans.. It's been since the COVID year that we have had that kind of excitement (short lived after we threw for 623 on LSU that year).
We are starving for some form of success.

Agree. If we are 4-0, it will not be a fluke unlike the LSU year. The following weeks after beating a terrible LSU team, was just bout as bad as I can remember.

Offensive line..any thoughts on how this group is coming along? These first 4 games important in helping get this o line's rotation established, early cohesiveness, ect. Also, the secondary...we shall see. Arizona State has the looks of a really good team. Battle tested heading into the Tennessee game. 4-0 possible but will need to come out the gates ballin.

If we get to 4-0 it will be like the 8-0 "We Believe" year. It will still end very poorly I'm afraid based on our schedule. Hope I'm wrong and a 4-0 start can lead to at least 6-6 or even 7-5 and we show we again belong in the SEC in football.

Yeah, just getting to 6 or 7 wins would be incredible and that is more than satisfactory. We will have beaten 2-3 decent teams and maybe one good team heading into UT at home. This would be new life into the program if this could happen.

I'll never forget there were NFL mock drafts the following Monday morning that had him as a Top 5 pick. I vividly remember being very concerned because while we had thrown for a ton of yds, Costello turned it over 3 times and they were in man the entire game. I knew teams would adjust and go zone. I just never thought the drop off would be that bad or that quick. I at least thought we'd beat Arky and UK.

Ark, UK and the rest made Bo Polini look like an idiot after game 1. Defending the AR wasn't difficult.
