Women's basketball post players (primarily centers)
My opinion Miss. State has a more than a solid group of post players. Haven't seen much updated video on 6-7 Rocio Jimenez but from what I have seen she continues to look physically healthy. Also, I was very impressed at the way she ran those stadium steps in workouts and the way she runs and moves in general. 6-6 Faith Wylder appears long and very athletic. She appears one of the top 3 most athletic players on the whole team, quick leaper, and very coordinated while executing on the court, noted shot blocker. Faith looks like a player that can really get up and down the court on both ends. 6-2 Kharyssa Richardson -physical, tough, determined. Coach Purcell describes her as explosive. Kharyssa plays power forward as well (see Auburn and Ole Miss). Last but not least 6-3 Favour Onyinye Nwaedozi. Nwaedozi reminds you of Anriel Howard going at rebounds. This is the type player that shows potential to someday make a run at one of the nations top rebounders just depends on how she adjusts and is utilized. She's noted as a good scorer on the low block as well. Favour is another player that can slide over to the power forward spot in the bigger lineups. Also she's really fast (speed) in transition, overall athleticism stands out.
Can't count out any players in this group, freshmen can help out here as well.

Short clip of 17 years old Rocio Jimenez pulling down a rebound while being blocked out. I know it's just a very small sample but nevertheless gives you a brief look at a healthy Jimenez. Looking at her in these 2025 summer workouts videos released..she doesn't appear physically hampered in any type of way. I remember NCMSTFAN posting on Miss. State not going after another good big and indicating that maybe Coach Purcell and his staff know something that we don't. My opinion the plan has always been to get Jimenez back healthy, developed, and stick with her for after Okot left. Meanwhile they've added Wylder and Nwaedozi during this off season. Looking at some high school bigs as well...few offers extended.
