This provides collectives a path to strike deals with athletes as long as those transactions deliver to the public goods and services for a profit for the organization, such as holding athlete merchandise sales, autograph signings and athlete appearances at, for example, golf tournaments."

I mean we weren't competing in the old format either. We're acting like we were juggernauts and now are terrible. We were a perennial 6-8 win team for the last decade and a half and once we get the roster back to a P4 level, we will go right back to that. Then, we can start figuring out pieces to get us to that next level. No different than OM. They were in way worse of a desert than we were, 3 times within the last 15 years and got out of it every time with ease.
