Ads on College Jerseys, it is coming?.

Another step towards destroying the little that is left of the amateur feel of college athletics, there will soon be company logos on most college uniforms awarded to the highest bidder just like we see on all the damn pro teams. This is going to happen whether it be this year or next, it will happen soon unfortunately. Probably will not even be able to buy a jersey without a damn ad logo on it

I had sponsors on hats and jerseys from tee ball thru Pony League, and on every softball team I've ever played on. But, oh no, it's gonna ruin this "amateur" game!!!****

Well saw another high priced Arch Ad tonight. Not bad for someone who hasn't won anything yet.

I just hope it doesn't make it to the commentators - "It will be 3rd and short for the Bulldogs brought to you by State Farm"......

Radio has been doing that for years.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

I mean that's no different than hearing, "Bulldogs now 1st and 10 in the Case IH Redzone" or "The Sonic Drive of the Game will be my drive home back to Tupelo."

Best closeout ever. i spit out my drink when I heard him say that. Bow about Ads heck they already do it. Nike, Addais and other apparel companies have been doing it for decades.
