We have lost some good posters in the last few years. Even though I may not agree with them all the time it is great for this board to have the conversation. Ari Gold, IYOK, Rambis, Shotgun, Maverick, BayouDawg, etc. I hope we get some of those guys back one day.

Shotgun used to be on here all the time and then one day he just vanished. He comes around once every few months now, but not like it used to be. Cadaver is a great poster too. William Tecumseh Sherman doesn't come around very often anymore either.

It's an interesting topic because in my opinion it correlated to football success. People want to get on boards and discuss, they get excited about upcoming games, etc. When you get in the hole we're in, alot of people stop caring about State sports.

Byrne did, Mullen did, Stans did, Strick did, Cohen did, Selmon does.....every AD has had multiple people watch the boards Cohen, Mullen, and Stans did it when they were coaches.

What exactly did he get pissed about? It's kind of hard to pinpoint it since he was ranting and raving about something different every day.

But he drove a lot of conversation and engagement and I liked that. I mean that's what a message board is for at the end of the day. The fanatics to vent and discuss Mississippi State.

I feel pretty certain it was related to that. I thought for a long time that Gun was Colonel Kang from the other message boards but decided it was not because their opinions got to be different on stuff.

Agree... The world itself is difficult enough, and coming to this site is an escape, even if friendly disagreements
