This is what I've heard. I think that's the reason we didn't hire mascara right off the bat. I think he knew our team responded under Parker and he needed a connection to the current roster.

While it could be true we whiffed, I lean towards muscara holding out because he might be the next HC at wake or Virginia (or somewhere else) and we need a full staff for portal. I also like that you keep a bridge guy that the fans and players love. Park has great intel on the current roster, can retain pitchers, and retain pitching recruits.

Would have to ask your boy that first reported it here on ED. Steve said Tuesday that Parker was still with the team on Monday. And it could still be true, Park could have cleaned out in a huff, Oak saw the timeline of needing a PC for portal and asked him to interview.

It's a message board, rumors are encouraged! The real issue is that readers take info from here and post on Twitter/X to act like they have the inside scoop.
