    Virginia players in the portal

    Welp. We bout to find out if all those guys actually signed with Virginia because of O'Connor or because they have multiple Targets and a Costco in Charlottesville. If they signed because of BOC, then many of them will be coming to State.if most go elsewhere, it was because of Target and Costco!

    about 4 of them are in the top 10 portal players right now. Ford being no. 1, Becker, the SS no. 3, Teel no. 4, and Valincius no. 5.

    I haven't seen that mentioned. I saw the top ten list in a twitter post by on3. Interestingly, there is a LHP from vandy at no. 9.

    Can anyone blur their eyes and see Ford coming back to school? If he is a mid range 2nd rounder, I'd believe its a long shot. I guess he can play another year and keep his leverage in the draft? And is he any relation to the creator of the Model T?

    I doubt it. Becker and Valincius are the big 2 we need. Becker would be our starting SS. Valincius would be a weekend starter the next 2 years. Possibly a Friday night Ace. He and Foster would be formidable.
