Man, if we had bunted Buckner with one on and no out this could have been a big inning. 3 singles but need a 2 out hit to score.

I disagree.

Damn….I thought that was out off the bat.

Yea, ball not really carrying to right. I couldn't believe the HH's shot wasn't out.

The stats cast the NCAA is using to total crap.

It is not and maybe that is why Stallman is having so much trouble reading balls off the bat out there.

That and he's a first baseman playing right field

Siary needs to keep the pitch count low. Because we either need him to go long today or throw 50-60 and then try to possibly bring him back for relief tomorrow, pending we were to win tonight.

You are not wrong there. I always forget we have two guys we recruited to play infield playing outfield in Frei and Stallman. I guess Highfille could fall in that category as well.

If we somehow got to a Monday game, who would start? Sullivan?

Siary on pace for 102. Keep it going.

Yep. Our center fielder is a corner outfielder (although he holds his own) and our corner outfielders are infielders.

Him or Stone Simmons if he doesn't throw tonight. Not ideal but it is what it is.

I would go Foster.

My guess would be Sullivan. There is a possibility you could try going with an opener in McPherson and then hoping Davis and maybe Foster could come back on short rest and run it that way.

No way Siary comes back a day after starting. We might could get Davis for a couple of innings in a pinch though. McPherson definitely should be available. This is where not having Chase Hungate is killing us.

You don't come back next day after throwing 50-60. Unless it's 1989 and your name is Jon harden.

Hunter reverts to old bad habits in that AB.
