I was surprised it wasn't bigger. This is some of the Marshall team that was run off the field by an average Va Tech team last year and the USM team that was hot garbage. They are also depending on guys from our team last year THAT COULDN'T GET ON THE FIELD ON DEFENSE!!!!! to contribute for them.

We're going to run them off the field. 49-14 is my prediction. Bothwell and Booth will both clear 100 yds and Ayden Williams will make Josh Moten look silly on multiple occasions.

I'm not saying they're not bad. I'm not convinced we've taken any step forward. Bad coached teams blow these types of games.

The spread / moneyline tells me it's implied 20% chance for USM to win. That feels about right. I'd say 20-25% of people could see this being super close. 50-60% see us blowing them out. 15-30% of people see it in the 2-3 TD win range for us.

I am full of hope that this is correct but I saw us get boat raced by Toledo and not fire our DC after the worst defense in our school’s history. We are definitely more talented than them.
