My apologies on that. You are correct. I was getting him mixed up with someone else. Regardless, he is happy at TCU. I reached out to someone in the know at TCU when we fired Lemonis to see what he knew about Sarloos and said Kirk will retire in Ft Worth if he has the chance. Loves it there and his family loves it there.

its true. If a guy has a health condition that prevents him from excercising or some sort of thyroid issue that is the exception. Otherwise the only reason people are fat is because they lack discipline and / or are lazy or are in some sort of huge depression. All of those are red flags for someone being hired and given a multi million dollar contract. It doesn’t completely disqualify someone but it is a negative check mark. Obviously the older someone gets the more likely they are to have issues that would prevent them from exercising as vigorously as they did when they were younger, but the air doesn’t have calories in it to my knowledge.

Mingione was never a candidate. We never even sniff his crazy ass. Bakich at $5MM+ is going to be a hard sell but we can hope!

There are obviously exceptions and I hate to paint with a broad brush, but generally fat people are undisciplined and in a lot of cases lazy. Not always, but it is definitely a red flag in a hiring process.
