So to the shock of ABSOLUTELY NO ONE, he is the same hitter. Eventually some will realize that Missouri could not beat some HS teams in this state and with how they pitched last weekend, they are some JV teams who would have dog walked them.
Just put last weekend out of your minds. Pretend that it did not happen.

Which has 3 games left, max.

He will probably try to sue the NCAA for extra eligibility and some of the Madison Co boosters will pay him yet another 6 figure NIL deal he does not deserve.
I wish I was kidding but that kid has ZERO pro future.

Hmm. The same Missouri team that made this A&M team look like they had quit just 2 weeks ago? Nope! A&M is not as good as what State puts on the field but they are still whipping that ass like State is a HS JV team! Dr. Jekyll meet Mr. Hyde!

Going to single elimination made this meaningless. If you do not have a day off there is no point in going. We will be much better next weekend

A&M is just poorly coached. They actually have a ton of talent. Missouri is poorly coached and has zero talent. They also decided to rest their best pitchers last weekend which contributed to the ass kicking we gave them.

I highly doubt it. We will still make errors, we will still leave the bases loaded multiple times, and Hines will still strike out and pop up a minimum of 8 times.
WE ARE THE SAME TEAM. A coaching change did nothing. We just started playing worse teams.

I dont buy that. Im not saying we are going to Omaha but there is a difference and it needed to be done even if we lost out. You cant sit there and say that if Lemon is here we come back after losing to OM In the first game and clutching vs UK. No reason or evidence to support that

Not saying that we did not need to make a change, one should have been made in 2022 IMO. And maybe for the Kentucky series you might be correct, but Ole Miss beat Ole Miss in game 3. They had first and third with no outs and just pissed the game away. I still think we find a way in with Lemonis, but glad we made the move so we would not have a decision to keep him that we would be contemplating right now.

His only shot at playing what is technically professional baseball would be getting on with the Mississippi Mud Monsters.

I was just starting to half-way reinvest in a State sports team. Glad this happened to snap me out of it. On to vacations and time with family. Peace.

I just don’t understand how we can play so badly!

Yep. Helpful to reset expectations prior to the regional.

Could not agree with you more. Winning feels great. However, winning blinds people to issues. The issues were still there. The teams we played were just garbage for the most part. We are significantly missing in talent in several areas. Changing coaches may have won us 2 or 3 more games than we would have otherwise, but the end result will be the same. It may have been the difference in getting into a regional vs. not, but that's as far as this team's talent will take it this year.

Welp glad that's over with

But didn't that crappy Missouri team just recently beat the crap out of the team currently beating the crap out of us?

They did and then for one of the oddest reasons I have ever seen, decided to rest their best pitchers when they faced us. And for a team that has no talent to begin with that was a death sentence.

This team is what it is.
Kentucky isn't very good and we had them in Starkville.
We beat Ole Miss regularly.
Mizzou sucks.
