Fielding is to blame, not McPherson

Good to know now than starting him for an elimination game in a regional.

Make a pitching change. Do all you can to try and win today... don't even worry about tomorrow

Very true. He should have had two up and two down to start.

Errors happen, but you can't hit guys and give up a HR and rockets after them.

Nah. Pack it in, take the run rule, and get back to Starkville. Just bullpen it. No need to risk a good arm getting hurt in a game you are not going to win.

While this is a true statement. They were seeing him pretty damn good.

All of this was avoidable if not for the bad defense.

Welcome to a 3 seed, we ain't in CoMo anymore
-
McPherson should be used in the regional though. Forget trying to get a few innings... just send him out there for an inning firing his best fastballs.
-
I get they hit off of him, but man, he had a tight strike zone and no defense.

I mean does it really matter if we are a 2 or a 3?

Committee is watching this game, so I don't think this is meaningless. We want a 2-seed, not 3

If McPherson is truly a stud, he's going to come back and be lights out in the regional.
Y'all are playing checkers, coach JP is playing chess***

He gave up 1 hit on a fastball. Horrible D and horrible pitch calling. He has to execute better, but damn.

How about catch a routine ground ball and routine fly ball?
Not too much to ask
When you put people on it?s more pressure on the pitcher.
That inning totally on errors , imo.
-
I bet TAM fans are worried about what we would have been worried about if we had not already fired Lemonis.
Let them make a run and squeak into a regional.

Why? It literally does not matter. We are going on the road regardless.
