Thank you Coach Parker
for helping turn the Ship around. Before you took over we had no chance of making the postseason and now depending on how we do at Hoover may end up a 2 seed. And remember the postseason is a new season, just ask OM and the '21 team. No one knows what will happen except for one thing and that is Arky choking in the regionals.

No doubt parabrave. Big shoutout to Parker for bringing the best out of this team.
To be successful it starts with your HC.

In all fairness, we likely have a similar result if Lem stayed. That's why he was fired when he was.
All that said, I think Parker will be a star.

I agree with this. Mizzou was so dreadful we could have had someone's dog coach and we probably sweep them. Kentucky isn't that good and we consistently beat Ole Miss in baseball.

Based on what?
No way we finish 9-1 with Lem
Parker and Jake both deserve credit for holding things together

Absolutely thank you for making it fun again. State needed this bad. Since Leach has passed all we have had is first round losses in hoops and underachievement. To be honest even last year with Lemonis wasnt much fun except for the governors cup night and beating LSU.

Based on every gme since the Vandy natty there is no way you could assume we beat UK or OM.

Absolutely NOT; I do not for one minute believe the result would have been the same had Lem stayed!! This team is playing markedly better since Parker took over.
I do agree that Parker COULD be a star in the making.

Not a chance. No way in hail we would have won the ole miss series and no way we sweep Kentucky. Probably would have lost that series. Based on what you might ask??? Hard evidence

Lemonis literally had a winning record every year against Ole Miss every year he was here including 2022 and 2023 his two worst seasons. And with the series being in Starkville- yeah I think it's pretty safe to assume he would have won that series against them as well.
Kentucky is simply not that good. They didn't even win 30 regular season games this year.

And this year Lemon would've snatched defeat from the jaws of Victory. Hey Lem got fired when he did because of his decision making that last series. Putting Cupp back in, not knowing when to pull his pitchers and face it Hines was starting to go back to being a rally killer. It was like he was trying to get fired.

Exactly. "Fundamentals" didnt have a ****ing thing to do with us hitting 15 HR's this weekend or Siary striking out 15 vs Mississippi to have the game of his life.
We all agree Lemon needed to go. Nobody disputes that. But its same coaches doing the same shit. The only thing that is different is that Parker may have a different way in dealing with the team vs just the pitchers.
Since we started putting out the same line-up- they went 12-6 in the SEC. Before that was the constant tinkering. Thats why we started winning games

Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

No way in the world. The team had quit on lemon and ready for it to be over. The new atmosphere created from the remaining coaching and putting everyone in the right position is making all the difference. Also, Parker's motivation style is working.

Nope, we'd lose 1 to UK, lose the series OM, eh probably wins Mizzou anyway. So yeah he racks up some wins but loses some.
You look at our loses and weekends. This team could easily be top 5 right now with some clutch moments or just no stupid moves.

I don?t know what it was about Lem, but for some reason, the players just played tight under him. That wasn?t just a this year thing either. Even though we won 40 overall and 17 in conference last year, there were 5 conference games that we lost where we should have won.

I don't think players played tight, to me it was more lack of motivation or drive. You got to communicate in the clubhouse during the weeks and months. No doubt our schedule played into this streak, but Parker has made some difference. Players are having fun and that is plus as the same with our fans.
-
If you can't tell that this team played different and improved since Lemonis left, you don't know ball or you have an agenda to push.
-
agree totally. no way would the team have played at the Parker level had Lemo still been in the dugout.

Parker is more engaging with the players, and not tinkering. We talk about swagger, and the IT factor, and sometimes the coach at the top exudes that. A difference in who is running the ship, even with the schedule.
We could not hit like that even against those Quad 3 and 4 teams early in the year with Lemonis screwing around with the best lineup.
