Nothing really changed except the pressure the team felt with the rumors on Lemon being fired. Same coaches- same approach. Same line-ups.

Ole Miss is eliminating Butch Thompson from the potential Mississippi State Coaching List!

Getting stomped by the Rebs in back to back games while you are ranked 6th in the country is not a resume for the State Job!!

I have backed off some also, Ole Dixie beating them like they are Missouri. But they are Auburn.

Butch isn?t leaving Auburn, but one series doesn?t diminish his entire body of work. Auburn is going to be a national seed this year and will possibly go to Omaha for the third time under Butch.
