    Glad he has something to hang his hat on when his playing days at MSU are over. May be a tough record to break in today’s era with portal, transfer and NIL.

    The one thing you can't take away from this guy is that when it hits it out, there is no doubt. No matter the caveats, great accomplishment. I wonder if they track his average HR distance. It's got to be up there.

    I'll say this about Hunter Hines. I've never understood the hate because he is essentially the same player as Bruce Castoria who MSU fans love.

    I don’t know if Bruce and Hunter are same. If memory serves me correctly Bruce hit some very clutch home runs to win games. I was there in my pickup truck backed up to leftfield fence most weekends back then. Matter of fact I still have a home run ball that Bruce hit that crashed thru the back windshield of my truck. We beat Auburn 3-2 that game. That is how long I’ve been following M over S.
