And McPherson. Just need Ligon to not put us in a hole. Davis could pitch again on Sunday.

A 15/0 K/BB ratio is crazy.

Everyone wants to be a beast...until its time to do what beasts do.

Tomorrow will determine if we make a regional. It is a must win. It would be better to win tomorrow and lose 1 to Missouri than lose tomorrow and sweep Missouri for Q1 points
-
This is actually perfect! We beat Ole Miss. Evan Siary was unreal and gets a big tip of the hat from me. AND Parker mismananged the pitching staff in the 9th somehow meaning he can't get brownie points to be the next coach.
-
Siary pitched the game of his life. He will never be better than he was tonight. He will remember tonight the rest of his life. Helluva job Dawg

Mizzou beating AM is huge. Now they got a win and they don't have that horrible shame to lift them. Maybe they beat TAM again.

Yeah and we will too. One of best pitching performances in MSU history.

Great performance. Felt like I was rewatching the Brooks Auger performance last year against OM in the SEC tournament.
-
I wonder if the performance by Siary was good enough to get him drafted high enough to bolt. Would be nice to have him back next year as a Saturday or Sunday guy. His emergence this year is impressive. Seems like beginning the season, he was a midweek relief guy.

This is not true. Losing to Missouri is an RPI killer. We sweep that series, we are in regardless of today's outcome.

How did he mismanage the pitching staff. Him going out there in the 8th to get the crowd into it was a boss move.

Yeah I thought it was done well too

He didn’t mismanage anything. He sent a guy out there to close and he did it

Bringing in Davis cost Siary the shutout which he deserved.

I'd say being in the shift cost the shutout because the 2nd hitter hit a potential double play ball had we been in regular double pay depth

Siary was amazing last night, but he was gassed. It was the right move.

Agree. TBH, Siary could have pitched a complete game shutout I believe. I know his pitch count was up; but if I was coach I'd almost have to ask him what he wanted to do at that point; he earned it.

He was on fumes. Def right call to pull him. We got a win in a must win game.

He had lost some but he had as much or more left than the effectiveness of Davis was. Now Williams or Dotson would have been a pick me up but Davis was not so much. Siary's stuff is just so good and OM had all night and couldn't figure it out. He just had to stay away from a fast ball down the middle.
