Isn’t it amazing. I really feel like it was paralysis by analysis. He had so much doubt that he never instilled any confidence in anyone and he and everyone else was so tight you couldn’t get a needle up their butt with a Jackhammer.

I definitely was concerned about the way he approached pressure when I heard him speak about that topic earlier this year.

Essentially he couldn't handle the pressure associated with MSU baseball.

Who knows what goes through someone else's mind. But deep down he may have felt a huge sigh of relief when it all came down this week. It's not like he has to rush out and get a job in the next few weeks. The pressure is gone now. I wish him all the best in whatever he ends up doing but you're right, the pressure cooker with this job blew its top. There are very, very few collegiate baseball jobs you can say that about but ours is definitely one of those.
